Roman Literature in Translation

Course Description:


Introductory survey of Roman literature and its importance in the Western literary tradition; selected readings in English translation in major authors, such as Plautus, Vergil, and Ovid. Au, Wi, Sp Qtrs. 5 cl. 102H (honors) may be available to students enrolled in an honors program or by permission of department or instructor. Not open to students with credit for 221. GEC arts and hums lit course. E102 may be available for honors embedded experience at the regional campuses.

Not open to students with credit for 221.
