Filmmakers have been in love with Joan of Arc since 1895, when Edison made the first film about her. This multimedia presentation discusses a hundred years of cinematic representations of the Maid of Orleans and includes clips from the following films: The Execution of Joan of Arc (1898), The Joan of Arc of Loos (1916), Joan the Maid (1935), Joan of Paris (1942), Joan of Arc (1948), The Little Drummer Girl (1984), Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure (1989), and The Messenger (1999).
