Spin is not new to the world of politics. Terry Jones reveals how the reputation of Richard II has been obscured and distorted by 600 years of propaganda, initiated by his usurper, Henry IV. Far from being an unpopular tyrant, Richard was more probably a revered figure who tried to rule as the perfect prince.
