Our congratulations to CMRS affiliate and English graduate student, Jonathan Holmes, who is a recipient of the university-wide Presidential Fellowship in the Spring 2015 competition. The Presidential Fellowship will support Jonathan's research in the 2015-2016 academic year. 

Jonathan Holmes is a PhD student whose research interests include Renaissance drama and poetry. His recent work has involved character theory and early modern dramatic representations of patience, historiographic research on The Taming of the Shrew, and an analysis of Paradise Lost through the lens of indigenous decolonization theory. He is also interested in web design, composition praxis, and the intersections of early modern rhetoric and poetics.
