On Monday, September 11, Owen Williams, Assistant Director for Scholarly Programs at the Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington, DC, will be on campus to talk about the library's extensive programs, fellowships, and resources. In addition to meeting with folks from the Department of English later in the day, he will hold an information session and Q&A for all other CMRS affiliates starting at 10:00am in the conference room in 455 Hagerty Hall.

With contributions from CMRS and the Departments of English, History, Theatre and Spanish & Portuguese, OSU has recently renewed its affiliation with the Folger, thus allowing us to make full use of all they have to offer. The Folger's extensive print and manuscript holdings range far beyond Shakespeare and Early Modern England, encompassing the Medieval period through the long eighteenth century and beyond, and include English as well as foreign language materials. Owen's visit is a great opportunity to learn how faculty as well as current and future graduate students can benefit from our membership in the Folger consortium.
