Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Ohio Medieval Colloquium

Ohio Medieval Colloquium.

The OMC is a diverse group of scholars and teachers from across Ohio and nearby states, founded by Kristen Figg and John B. Friedman. We gather twice yearly to share works in progress and foster our mutual love of medieval studies.

OMC members' work ranges from literature to history, from science to religion, across the many cultures and centuries of the medieval period. We come from institutions large and small; we include new professors, senior scholars, and graduate students.

There's no membership fee, and meetings are free to attend.

You can find more information on the Ohio Medieval Colloquium on their website: https://ohiomedievalcolloq.wixsite.com/the-omc
