Upcoming CFP's, Conference/Workshop Announcements, and Affiliated Events

Each year, the Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies hosts a series of interdisciplinary events aimed to share research and foster discussion on Medieval and Renaissance topics. Our Lecture Series brings scholars from around the country and the world to present cutting-edge research on a wide range of topics and eras. Our Film Series presents diverse Medieval- and Renaissance-themed films for viewing and informal discussion. Our Faculty Colloquia allow faculty across campus to share their research with their peers and students, while our Faculty Symposium allows different faculty members each year to organize a mini-conference on a specific topic. Our celebration of ‘popular culture and the deep past’ explores a different theme each year, including both academic and fan-based perspectives. Finally, we host a variety of other conferences, talks, and co-sponsorships as the occasion arises.
