Graduates, undergraduates, faculty and staff are all invited. Have you always wanted to publish a novel or a short story? What happens between typing “the end” in your word document, and holding a finished book in your hands? As it turns out - quite a lot! But how does it all work? Join OSU alumna and national bestselling author Genevieve Gornichec for a casual roundtable discussion on writing craft, the publishing industry and everything in between. Bring your burning questions!Genevieve Gornichec earned a BA in history from The Ohio State University, where her study of Norse myths and Icelandic sagas became her writing inspiration. Her debut novel, The Witch’s Heart, was released in 2021 and has been translated into over a dozen languages. Her sophomore novel, The Weaver and the Witch Queen, was released in 2023. She lives in Cleveland, Ohio.To register, email cmrs@osu.edu. This event is free and open to the public.
