Professor Daniel Reff of The Ohio State University Department of Comparative Studies will be the first speaker in the Center for the Study of Religion’s Community Lecture Series, “Religions of the World: Past and Present.”  Professor Reff will deliver a talk entitled, “Why Mexico and Not Japan: Jesuit Missionaries and Conversion to Christianity during the Sixteenth Century.” More information on this talk and the other talks in the series can be found at religion.osu.edu.
