The annual film series is back! This year, we're focusing on magic and witchcraft to align with our CMRS undergraduate GE course of the same name (MedRen2666). Join us on the fourth Thursday of the month* in 180 Hagerty Hall to see a classic film about various portrayals of witches and witchcraft in history, followed by a brief talk and Q+A. This month's film will be held on the third Thursday because of the Thanksgiving holiday. Pizza and refreshments will be served. These screenings are free and are open to all.
This month will feature The Love Witch, a 2016 American horror film written, edited, directed, produced and scored by Anna Biller. The film stars Samantha Robinson as Elaine Parks, a modern-day witch who uses spells and magic to get men to fall in love with her with disastrous results and deadly consequences. Find the film on IMDB.
Find more information on each movie in the series on their individual listing on our event calendar. Questions? Contact Nick Spitulski, instructor of Magic and Witchcraft, at spitulski.1@osu.edu.
