The annual film series is back! This year, we're focusing on magic and witchcraft to align with our CMRS undergraduate GE course of the same name (MedRen2666). Join us on the fourth Thursday of the month* in 180 Hagerty Hall to see a classic film about various portrayals of witches and witchcraft in history, followed by a brief talk and Q+A. Pizza and refreshments will be served. These screenings are free and are open to all.
This month will feature Witchfinder General, a 1968 British period folk horror film directed by Michael Reeves and starring Vincent Price, Ian Ogilvy, Hilary Dwyer, Robert Russell and Rupert Davies. Summary: During the English Civil War, a young Roundhead seeks vengeance against a vicious witch-hunter and his henchman, who have terrorized the soldier's fiancée and wrongfully executed her uncle. Find the film on IMDB.
