Randall McLeod, Emeritus Professor of English at the University of Toronto, will present a workshop for interested grad students on “How Not to Edit” on Tuesday, March 29. The workshop will examine printed editions of Shakespeare, Ariosto (via Harington), Donne, Hopkins, Herbert, Hopkins, Shaw, etc., as well as various Aldine books, with examples in Greek, Latin, Italian, and perhaps the first Hebrew bible printed in France.
