Lord Denney’s Players, the Department of English, and the Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies are excited to announce the Lord Denney’s Players Sonnet Contest! Submissions of individual Shakespearean sonnets are welcome from Ohio State undergraduate students from all colleges and majors.

The deadline for entering is Friday, March 23, 2018, and entries will be published in a chapbook in honor of LDP’s upcoming performance of Sir John Falstaff and the Merry Wives of Windsor. Winners will be announced at the associated undergraduate conference on Friday, April 6.

First prize: $100

Second Prize: $50

Two Honorable Mentions: $25 each
