We're Hiring: Accepting Applications for a 50% Graduate Associate
The CMRS anticipates funding to support a 50% Graduate Associate appointment for the Autumn 2023 and Spring 2024 terms.
In addition to providing some general administrative support for programs and
events, specific responsibilities for the position will include:
• assistance with development of print & digital publicity content for CMRS events, courses,
and its magazine Nouvelles Nouvelles;
• editing/copywriting support for the CMRS website;
• content development for CMRS social media accounts (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram);
• TA support for MEDREN 2666 - Magic and Witchcraft during the Autumn 2023 term.
Applicants must be full-time graduate students in good standing and available to work at least
20 hours per week each term. Preference will be given to students whose research is focused
in the medieval, renaissance, or early modern periods. Desired qualifications include:
• experience with various software such as Excel, Publisher, Drupal, InDesign, and OSU’s
Carmen/Canvas system;
• prior experience in editing publications and/or websites
• prior teaching experience, preferably with MedRen coursework
